WOW! We're at 42% of my goal! I want to thank every single one of you who has helped me get here. With 20 days left, there is still a long ways to go to ensure that these bits of wonderful make it into the world. PLEASE keep spreading the word and if you are on the fence about pledging; do it! Here are 3 color combos, but I haven't decided on the final colors. I'm leaning towards the golden brown hues though. Thoughts???

Great Day 2

It's been another good day for my Kickstarter project. If the world is full of the type of amazing people that have supported me, then everything is going to be alright. Each and everyone of you have a special place in my heart!

Opinions are rolling in about the 4 pint glass designs for rewards. I've decided to sit back a bit and survey what everyone thinks the designs should be, rather than just going ahead and designing them before hand. It's going to be fun seeing what everyone comes up! You can comment on the "updates" section of my Kickstarter page and give your suggestions. Some pretty cool ones have come up so far from astronauts to dinosaurs.

Day 1

Day 1 of my Kickstarter campaign is almost complete and I can already tell that this is going to be a wonderful journey. I've had some awesome backers and momentum is growing. Let's do this!!!!

Kickstarter:: coming soon

As some of you may know, i've been working almost constantly on a new line of glasses for my business. Right now I am creating sandblasted pint and whiskey glasses from my own sketches. I am going to add hand screen printed glasses to my products this fall. The sandblasted glasses will of course still be available, but the new glasses will add a bit of color and pizazz to my shop. I am so psyched about this! Starting this new journey is going to be a bit expensive. That is why i'm turning to Kickstarter! Kickstarter is an amazing platform for artists, authors, film makers, etc. to get their voice heard and hopefully make some awesome new friends who support their project. I am diligently working on my very own Kickstarter campaign and will have it ready to launch very soon. Maybe even tomorrow! I have some tweaking to do on my video then I'm pretty much done. Magnets

Looky looky, i've made magnets. These aren't your grandmothers fridge magnets! Nope- these are the most bad-ass magnets ever. Sheets of wood are randomly hand silkscreened with my original illustrations using water based paints. The designs are printed randomly so no 2 magnets will ever be the same.

Hey guys! Here on some of my screen printed journals. I am working on some designs that will be on sale at the Indie Craft Parade in September. I am making a ton of new designs and will have them in my Etsy shop soon as well.

New Equipment

Phoenix Fire Studios is growing! This fall I will be expanding my product line to include screen printed glassware and mugs which will accompany my current line of etched glassware. I am so excited about this addition! Screen printing has been a passion of mine for a long time now and soon i'll be able to hand silkscreen directly onto all kinds of cool things. I am going to get special equipment that will print on cylindrical surfaces. The process will be much faster and economical, which means that all of you can get really awesome glasses for really great prices.

Above are some examples of the current etched glassware that I make. How cool are these going to be in color??? So stoked! I will still make my etched glasses, of course, but new and exciting things are coming your way soon :)

In the void…

So it's been a little while since my last update! I am going to start posting a LOT more so be prepared people :) Since my last post, my business Phoenix Fire Studios is growing wonderfully and I couldn't be more thankful. I've been selling awesome wares online as well as arts and craft shows. I have scheduled an awesome line up of shows for this fall and winter. I'll post where you can find me this fall very soon. I am in the process of putting together my first Kickstarter project campaign now. You can check back here for continuous updates throughout the process of my campaign!
